By applying cutting-edge technology and sensibility to metals that have fascinated people since ancient times, these cutting arts reflect beauty and satisfaction to your eyes and senses. These reflect Iriso Seimitsu's aesthetic senses to please discerning connoisseurs.

Aluminium Rose
This rose, carved out of a 3.5kg block of aluminum alloy over a period of approximately 60 hours, is a masterpiece of industrial art, with the petals, leaves, stem, and thorns all made from one piece!
Although it is a piece that may be easily overlooked by those who are not familiar with cutting-edge technology, this "machined rose" expresses the precious possibilities of MC modeling. It is a symbol of the realization of complex shapes with high precision, such as elegant machining that resembles a single stroke, precision machining that freely manipulates small diameter tools, and easy design changes with few jigs.
From the late 1990s through to 2000, Iriso Precision developed a manufacturing system that connected 3D CAD/CAM software to machine tools via Ethernet, enabling it to stably and accurately produce metal parts with complex shapes that had previously been impossible. This system gave birth to the Aluminum Rose.
Iriso Precision received a special prize at the First Machining Dream Contest (2004) for this Aluminum Rose, which was praised for "expressing the intricacy of the rose thorns and petals, and the softness of the aluminum, which have expanded the limits of what can be achieved through machining."
Metallic BASARA TAISHO
General Basara (National Treasure) is a standing statue created in the Tenpyo period (710-794) using the most advanced technology of the time. Clad in armor and depicted with a wrathful expression, he is one of the Twelve Heavenly Generals and still protects the seated Yakushi Nyorai statue, the principal image of the temple at Shin-Yakushiji Temple in Nara Prefecture.
A Heisei-era craftsman named K.Saito was deeply moved by the Tenpyo-era statue with mouth wide open and filled with tension. So, using his world-class technology and craftsmanship, K.Saito carved out the "Metallic BASARA TAISHO" (1/8 the actual size) from a block of metal (ingot) with precision down to the micron level. It was a partnership transcending time and space.
This project was carried out with the aim of exploring the possibility of utilizing 3D archive data of cultural assets and the possibility of applying industrial technology to the production of artistic works.
This ultra-precise model was created using Iriso Precision's MC cutting and reverse engineering technologies based on 3D data generated by high-definition 3D laser measurement of General BASARA at Shin-Yakushiji Temple.
